Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business is searching for a tenure track assistant professor of economics to start in the fall of 2013. An ideal candidate will have a PhD in Economics from an accredited university and be able to teach microeconomics core courses, Econometrics, and at least one other course in the candidate's field of expertise. We are looking for someone who can balance excellence in teaching, an active research portfolio targeting high quality economics journals, and active engagement in the school and university community.
Seton Hall University is located on a 58-acre suburban campus in South Orange, New Jersey, just 14 miles from New York City. Seton Hall is the oldest Catholic diocesan institution of higher education in the United States. It is home to approximately 5,300 undergraduate and 4,400 graduate students.
