FINRA is seeking a Chief Economist, Senior Vice President in our Washington, DC office to:
- Advise the CEO on economic and public policy topics of a technical nature; and
- Partner with the Office of the General Counsel and other departments in reviewing, analyzing and articulating the economic impact of existing and potential rulemaking actions.
Candidate must have: a Ph.D. in economics or public policy; technical knowledge of cost-impact analysis; 9-15 years of post-college work experience; experience in the financial services field in a highly regulated industry and in relevant regulatory and policy environments; a record of self-directed, peer-reviewed, published research on topics related to financial markets and regulation; and strong leadership and management skills.
