The School of Public Finance and Taxation at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics invites applications for several positions at all levels (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors). Applicants are expected to engage in quality research and teaching. The School is one of the leading research institutes in public economics and taxation studies in China. We are looking for outstanding candidates in all areas relating to public economics, especially, taxation studies, policy issues (such as education, health care, social security, environment, etc.), and public investment (with civil engineering knowledge as an asset). Salaries are competitive. Research funds and housing allowance are offered in addition to standard fringe benefits. A successful applicant should have a PhD. degree in economics, or a related area by the date of appointment.
