Wartburg College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Lutheran Church (ELCA), recognized for community engagement, offering more than 50 academic majors and pre-professional and certificate programs. Nine-month, tenure track position beginning fall 2013. Teach seven courses (three in Fall term, three in Winter term, and one in May term) from among the following: Intermediate Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of microeconomics, International Trade & Finance, Comparative Economic Systems, Regional Economics. Additional possibilities: May Term international travel course; economics of peace and justice.
Requires Doctorate in economics or related field; support for the mission of a liberal arts college of the Lutheran Church; successful college-level teaching experience; demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning.
