RESPONSIBILITIES--This tenure-track, 36 week position has teaching and research responsibility in the economics of agribusiness. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a nationally and internationally recognized research program focusing on consumer economics, marketing, agribusiness management, industrial organization, or related topics. Applicants should possess excellent quantitative and communication skills, and the motivation to work in multi-disciplinary teams. The successful applicant will be expected to secure external funding to support her/his research program and graduate students. Teaching responsibilities will include such courses as Food Product Marketing, and Agricultural Markets and Prices. Teaching responsibilities include 3-4 courses per year at the undergraduate and graduate level, academic advising, and direction of student research. Faculty are expected to contribute as needed to all missions of the college.
QUALIFICATION--Ph.D. in agricultural economics, agribusiness, economics, business, or related field.
SALARY--Competitive, commensurate with background and experience. An attractive benefits package is available.
