The Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management at the University of Oregon anticipates an opening for a tenure-track faculty position starting fall 2013. Strong candidates with research and teaching interests in any applied public policy/public administration area will be considered. The position may be filled at any rank from assistant to full professor. We seek candidates pursuing an applied policy-relevant research program with demonstrated scholarly potential and strong teaching skills.
Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in public policy, public administration, economics, political science, or a closely related field. ABDs may be considered, but degree completion prior to September 2013 is expected. Candidates must have strong quantitative research skills. Qualitative research skills are also valued, particularly for candidates whose field of research involves management and administration of policies.
