Mathematica Policy Research is seeking economists with international development and evaluation expertise to join our staff. Successful candidates will be an integral part of Mathematica's rapidly growing portfolio of impact evaluations of interventions in education, health, agriculture, and infrastructure in countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, and Africa.

RESEARCHERS: Researchers collaborate with senior staff to design rigorous evaluations of international interventions and programs, conduct analyses, draft papers, and present findings to policy and professional audiences. Researchers should have strong analytic and quantitative skills and possess a Ph.D. in economics or a related social science by summer 2013. They should also have demonstrated experience in international research, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality, rigor, critical thinking, and staff development. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Fluency in Spanish, French, or Hindi is a plus.

SENIOR RESEARCHERS: Senior researchers design and direct rigorous evaluations of international programs that involve teams of multidisciplinary staff. Senior researchers should have strong analytic skills and possess a Ph.D. in economics or a related social science, at least five years of professional experience conducting international research, and an established research record. Senior researchers are highly motivated, self-directed individuals with strong interpersonal and management skills, who enjoy working in a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality, rigor, critical thinking, and staff development. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Fluency in Spanish, French, or Hindi is a plus.
