Oklahoma State University, Department of Economics and Legal Studies in Business, seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure-track position in Urban Economics (JEL CODE R) at the (junior or senior) Assistant Professor level beginning August 2013, contingent upon available funding. Applicants should have or be close to finishing a PhD in Economics or equivalent degree. The successful applicant must have strong potential for effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, for serving on dissertation committees, for procuring external funding and for outstanding research leading to publication in internationally recognized journals. The teaching load is two classes each semester. The Department offers Ph.D., M.S., B.S. and B.A. programs in Economics, including a doctoral field in Regional and Urban Economics. We especially welcome applications from individuals who would contribute to the diversity of our faculty.
