Assistant Professor, 9-month, tenure-track, 50% research 50% extension. Develop distinguished research program publishing in appropriate outlets. Address issues facing managers of farms and agribusinesses, which may include financial management, labor management and environmental issues. Advising graduate students is expected and the individual may eventually teach courses in farm management. A PhD in agricultural economics, economics, or applied economics is required. Women and underrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
