Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Economics discipline area, within the School of Social Sciences, is a large department which is internationally recognized for pursuing high quality research, both theoretical and applied, across all areas of macroeconomics, microeconomics and econometrics, including financial, environmental, and development economics.

To further strengthen our research portfolio, in line with our strategic research objectives (which saw twelve new hires last year), we wish to appoint up to THREE dynamic researchers who, collectively and in collaboration with existing staff, have the potential to further enhance the quality of our future research.

At least one of the appointments will be in time series econometrics. Other areas of strategic importance, where we would welcome applications, are: behaviourial economics, industrial organisation and development economics; although this should not deter high quality applicants in any area of economics.

All posts are tenable from 1st August 2013.

Interview dates are likely to be 11th-15th February 2013.

Informal enquiries should be directed to:
Ken Clark (Head of Economics, Teaching and Operations):
Rachel Griffith:
Chris Orme (Head of Economics, Research & Strategy):
