The Center for Health Systems Effectiveness (CHSE) at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon is seeking applicants for a two-to-three-year postdoctoral position in health services research. This is a fully-funded appointment based at CHSE.
The fellow will develop and collaborate on studies at CHSE related to health economics, reimbursement reform, and Medicaid policy. An important research focus is Oregon's ongoing Medicaid transformation and will include work with the State of Oregon's All Payer All Claims database. The position provides the opportunity to collaborate with individuals from multiple disciplines and to work closely with key policy makers.
The CHSE is a new Center at OHSU with a strong focus on research aimed at improving the value and efficiency of health care. Requirements include training in health economics and an articulated and innovative approach to studying Medicaid reform. Completion of a PhD is required before starting the program. Start date is flexible, with earlier start dates preferred.
