Rhodes College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level focusing on contemporary United States domestic policy. The position is open to applicants from any relevant discipline and specializing in any policy area. Candidates specializing in environmental, health, education, or energy policy are particularly welcomed. The person filling this position will be a member of the appropriate Rhodes academic department and will contribute to the interdisciplinary Program in Political Economy. The successful candidate will teach introductory and upper level public policy courses, in addition to other courses in the relevant department's curriculum. The teaching load is 3-2. A Ph.D. is expected by August, 2013. Applicants must be able to demonstrate their commitment to undergraduate teaching as well as their promise for scholarly work in their discipline.
