It is hiring several

Economists and Senior Economists:
Macroeconomics / International Economics / Finance

Successful applicants should have a doctoral degree in economics or a related field. They should have a strong academic background, with an empirical focus, and with a keen interest both in conducting high-quality academic research and in economic policy issues. DIW Berlin is hiring in macroeconomics (such as fiscal policy, monetary policy, economic modelling and forecasting), international economics (trade, international finance) and finance (banking, financial stability, asset pricing).

DIW Berlin is open to applications both from new Ph.D.s, as well as from experienced economists with a good publication record and/or experience in economic projections and macroeconomic policy. Successful candidates will have substantial time for research (comparable to tenure-track positions at universities) and will also be involved in policy work, such as preparing analysis and recommendations to policymakers.
