Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a vacant Professorship in Health Economics at the Department of Economics.
Core research areas of the department are (1) Macroeconomics and Economic Policy and (2) Applied Microeconomics. It is the ambition of the department to be among the best departments of applied economics with relevance for business and society in Europe. The teaching obligations of the department comprise undergraduate and graduate teaching in economics at various programs at CBS.
Examples of research areas that the professor might cover:
- Microeconomic evaluation of the value of individual treatments
- Preference elicitation and behavioral health economics
- Factors that determine the performance of private and public health solutions
It would be of particular interest if the professor would be interested in working with Danish register data on individuals and/or firms and in this way connect with the microeconometric research environment at the department.
The position is a full Professorship with research and teaching obligations.
