The University of South Alabama, Mitchell College of Business (MCOB), invites applications for two tenure-track (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) positions in economics beginning August 15, 2013. The department is seeking candidates who are academically qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate economics courses (including a course in the college's newly approved DBA program). All economic specializations will be considered, but the graduate courses will be in the areas of managerial economics and industrial organization. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience. Candidates should have an earned PhD in Economics and a sufficient publication record to be considered for the more senior-level position. ABDs will be considered for the entry-level position if the candidate has appropriate peer-reviewed publications. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
