Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) is seeking candidates to be employed as Economists. The successful candidates will be expected to carry out independent policy-relevant research, to produce directed research and to contribute to the formal policy-making process. Strong presentation skills are required along with excellent analytical, quantitative, and written skills. Applicants are expected to hold a doctoral degree by the end of 2013.
Economists at the CBRT are encouraged to present their work at local and international conferences and to publish in academic journals. We provide research and travel support as well as access to extensive economic and financial data.
Candidates must be Turkish citizens and fulfill all eligibility requirements stated by the CBRT's employment regulations, except the age requirement. The position offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
