Both positions are part-time, 1099 Independent Contracts and can be completed remotely in the US.
ECONOMICS CONTENT AUTHOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writing clear questions and solutions of varying difficulties, which test students understanding and application of concepts
- Authoring hints, solutions and feedback that provide insightful diagnosis of student mistakes and misconceptions and coach students toward mastery
- Reviewing and revising the questions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience teaching Principles of Economics and writing original homework and test questions
- 15 hours available weekly
- Recent experience teaching Economics and tutoring for Higher Ed
SALES ECONOMIST
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To present via web-meeting the way Sapling Learning can help both faculty and students
- Present the benefits of the Sapling Learning solution with the ultimate goal of closing business
- Work with the Sapling Marketing team in the development of canned presentations that can be distributed digitally
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A proven capability to present in front of both small and large groups, digitally and in person
- Ability to work during normal business hours, 15 hours per week
EDUCATION
Masters or Ph.D. in Economics required for both positions.
