The Institute of Public Health is seeking a tenure-track faculty member to join the core Institute faculty in the area of Health Policy and Management. The selected candidate will be expected to teach graduate courses as well as pursue an independent line of research and scholarship in Health Services Research.
The ideal candidate will have an earned doctorate in the disciplines of Public Health, Economics, Medical Sociology, Public Policy or other disciplines related to Health Services Research and have academic, practice and leadership experience in Health Services Research. Candidates who demonstrate a strong record of independent or collaborative research with extramural funding support are preferred but candidates who demonstrate the potential to become funded independent investigators will be considered. Prior work experience in a university setting is highly desirable. Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
