We are seeking two economists with applied focus for tenure-track assistant professor positions beginning August 2013. One position will teach courses in Environmental or Health Economics; preference given to candidates with a field in Public Economics or Industrial Organization. We will also consider candidates in Econometrics or Macroeconomics for the second position. Publication in refereed journals is required for tenure and promotion.
GVSU is a comprehensive regional university with 24,654 students and 835 regular faculty (http://www.gvsu.edu/). Teaching load is nine credit hours per semester. Salary is competitive. We are an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity institution. Candidates without a Doctorate in Economics must send strong evidence of completion by August 2013.
