EBS Business School in Wiesbaden/Oestrich-Winkel pursues a dynamic course of international expansion. Fully accredited and ranked among leading business schools in Germany, EBS offers high-quality teaching and research as well as new standards in executive education.
The Institute of Sports, Business and Society (ISBS) seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor for a tenure-track position in Sports Economics. The candidate should have a strong background in macroeconomics, behavioural economics, public economics, economic geography, contract economics, cost/benefit research and interest in empirical research on economic and social effects of sports.
Applicants should ideally have post-doctoral experience. Strong command of statistical techniques is expected, as well as ability to conduct research in peer-reviewed journals and to guide young researchers. German language skills are not required, willingness to learn German in due course is desirable.
This position has a dual affiliation with the ISBS and the Department of Governance and Economics, led by Prof. Dominique Demougin.
