The Economics Department at Purdue University is seeking two tenure-track faculty members at the assistant, senior-assistant, or associate level, with the positions beginning August 2013. One of the positions is designated for the International (Finance or Open Economy)/Macroeconomics area. The second position is designated for the Macroeconomics/Monetary area. Economists with research interests that complement either of these fields at all levels are encouraged to apply. A successful candidate will be expected to carry out research, supervise PhD dissertation research, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The positions require a PhD in economics or closely-related field. A successful candidate should have evidence of potential research excellence and a commitment to teaching. A background check will be required for employment in these positions.
