Research Faculty (Health Policy/Economics)
The Maryland Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (MIPAR) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) seeks to fill up to two positions.
The first is the position of Senior Research Scientist. The principal responsibilities of this position are: 1) to develop proposals to secure extramural funding for applied and scholarly research, especially but not limited to the area of health policy broadly defined; and 2) to direct, supervise and participate in the conduct of such research.
The second is the position of Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. The principal responsibilities of this position are: 1) assist senior faculty in MIPAR to conduct externally funded health policy research; and 2) assist senior faculty in MIPAR to develop proposals to secure external funding for research, especially but not limited to the area of health policy broadly defined.
These are 12 month positions with full benefits. Review of applications will begin on October 8, 2012 and continue until position(s) is (are) filled. Salary is competitive.
