The Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota seeks nominations and applications for an Associate Dean, a professional and administrative position. The person in this position will also hold a tenured faculty position, and play a leadership role in academics and research at the Humphrey School.
The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree), and a record of scholarly accomplishment, preferably in a field related to one or more of the School's Areas. The candidate is expected to possess a broad knowledge of higher education and public affairs education. The candidate is expected to meet the standards for appointment as a tenured member of the faculty or currently hold a tenured position at the University of Minnesota.
Nominations and applications, will be reviewed beginning December 1, 2012. Position is open until filled. Preferred start for the position is July 1, 2013.
