Candidates also are expected to have outstanding research potential, along with the capacity to supervise Ph.D. student research, and have a strong desire to publish papers that develop or use cutting-edge econometric methods for public policy analysis. Preference will be given to candidates using econometric methods of program evaluation and nonparametric methods applied to policy issues in our major fields and other related issues (e.g., environment, energy, health, social welfare).
