The Department of Economics at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is a young fast-growing department of international standard and seeks distinguished scholars to fill several permanent and contractual vacancies. Candidates must have strong research potential and/or publication record. Rank is open. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level must have a PhD in hand or firmly expected by August 2013.
LUMS is Pakistan's premier academic institution. The department places high value on quality research that pushes the frontiers of theoretical and applied knowledge. We also serve as an intellectual resource base in the region and play an important role in the making of public policy. The medium of instruction is English.
