Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) seeks a non-tenure track Instructional Assistant Professor of Maritime Administration to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in economics and statistics. Appointee will also engage in student advising and university service. This is a full-time, nine month renewable position. The anticipated start date is the Fall 2013 Semester. TAMUG is the Marine and Maritime Branch of Texas A&M University. The Department of Maritime Administration focuses on the business of shipping, port management and logistics.
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in the maritime industry and two or more years of university/college teaching experience. Applications should be received by March 15, 2013 for full consideration.
