Full Text of JOE Listing:
Institute of Developing Economies (IDE-JETRO) invites applications for a few positions as full-time research fellows. All positions are tenure track, and the initial contract will be for three years. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics or related field (including those scheduled to be completed by June 2013) and ability to conduct research projects on development studies.

Applicants are recommended to e-mail the following materials to by November 30, 2012: CV, a list of academic works, an essay explaining your motivation for applying for this position, and copy of recent and major research paper(s). After reviewing submitted documents, we will have interviews with qualified candidates at ASSA Annual meeting in San Diego for January 4-6, 2013.

IDE-JETRO is a governmental organization, and one of the largest social science research institutes in Japan. We conduct research on economic, political and societal issues concerning developing economies to support harmonious trade and investment and provision of international economic cooperation.
