FACULTY POSITION STARTING AUGUST 2013
The Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Public Policy is seeking applications for a tenured or tenure-track position in applied micro-economics, rank open. We are seeking someone with a Ph.D. in economics, policy, management or related field who will teach micro-economics to public policy students at the graduate and undergraduate levels and advise graduate students on GT's Atlanta campus. We seek to expand our existing strengths in one of the core areas of the department, including: science, technology and innovation; energy and environment; economic development; information and communication technologies; and health.
The School offers bachelors, masters, and PhD degrees in public policy. Our work in this area benefits from synergies with the Institute's world-class engineering curriculum, as well as the Institute's tradition of interdisciplinary innovative research.
Applicants should submit a curriculum vita; a statement of research and teaching interests with clear evidence of demonstrated teaching success and the potential for a successful research program; copies of one to three papers; and the names of three people who will write letters of reference.
