The Research Department seeks economists doing research in macroeconometrics and empirical macroeconomics. Main responsibilities include actively engaging in academic research for publication in top-tier academic journals; briefing the Bank's president on policy issues; and writing nontechnical articles for our Business Review. Excellent research skills are vital, as are good writing and speaking skills. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics or reasonably expect to complete all requirements for the degree by September 2013. Experienced applicants must have a proven ability to publish in academic journals. The Department offers an outstanding research environment and competitive salary and benefits.
