The Heinz College, School of Public Policy and Management, at Carnegie Mellon University (www.heinz.cmu.edu) invites applications for two tenure track positions, one in applied microeconomics, broadly defined, and one in urban economics broadly defined. For the first position, we welcome applications from any field of applied microeconomics. We are particularly interested in scholars whose research is closely connected to current issues in public policy. For the second position, we welcome applications from individuals whose work in applied microeconomics has a significant urban component. For example, these scholars could be working in areas such as crime, education, health, housing, labor markets, or transportation.
