Applications are invited for two full-time, tenure-track assistant or associate professor positions, with salary/ rank dependent upon experience, beginning Fall 2013 (OAA Position Number: 13-14 ECON-TT). The targeted areas are applied microeconomics and industrial organization, but strong candidates in any field will be considered.
The Department of Economics is housed in the College of Business and Economics; faculty teach courses not only for undergraduate and MA students in Economics, but also for undergraduate and MBA students in business administration. Teaching assignments could include Hayward, Concord and online campuses. In addition to teaching and research, all faculty have advising and service responsibilities.
Availability of positions are subject to budgetary authorization. Priority will be given to applications received by December 1, 2012.
