The Chair of international Finance (CFI) at the College of Management of Technology (CDM) of EPFL has an opening for a postdoctoral position.
The CDM is a center of excellence for research and education in economics, finance and management. Research at CFI focuses on the development of general equilibrium models with housing and banking for the analysis of monetary and fiscal policies. The emphasis is on rigorous modeling and numerical evaluation.
Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics; Research interests in open-economy macroeconomics and/or macroeconomics; Fluency in English.
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to develop a research program in the areas of interest of CFI; to collaborate in the existing research programs; to contribute to the existing research and educational programs.
Applications will be processed starting October 1st, 2012. Contract duration is 1 year, renewable, starting date: to be agreed upon. We offer excellent working conditions, an environment strongly conducive to academic research and competitive compensation.
