The Department of Economics at Arizona State University invites applications for tenure track positions of any rank beginning October 1, 2012. Scholarship in environmental and resource economics is the primary focus of the appointment. It is also desirable to have experience in micro-econometrics applied to another field such as public economics or industrial organization. Teaching needs are at all levels: undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. Applicant must possess Ph.D. in Economics by the start of appointment as well as teaching experience appropriate to rank. Also required is demonstrated research potential as evidenced by a research paper for assistant professor applicants or a record of publication and substantial ongoing research appropriate to rank for applicants for associate/full professor.

Junior applicants must apply by December 1, 2012 for interviews at the ASSA meetings. For assistant professor, submit resume, 3 letters of recommendation, and one research paper; associate/full professor, submit resume, names and contact information for 3 references, and a sample of research to wpcareyecn@asu.edu.
