The Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a faculty position to serve as Academic Director of the International College in Beijing (ICB). The rank of the position is open and salary is commensurate with rank and experience.
We seek an innovative leader with demonstrated administrative experience to oversee CU Denver's degree programs in Economics and Communications at ICB. The successful candidate will be primarily based in Beijing,
but will have a tenured, tenure-track or non-tenure-track faculty appointment in the Department of Economics at CU Denver. The Director will work in close collaboration with ICB, a unit of the China Agricultural University.
In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Director is expected to teach in China, but annual course load is negotiable. Tenured or tenure-track faculty members must maintain an active research agenda. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and a strong record of teaching.
