The Department of Economics (http://business.lsu.edu/Economics/) seeks to fill a tenure track appointment in Econometrics to begin in August 2013. Interviews will be held at the ASSA meetings in San Diego, January 4-6, 2013. The Department has a strong research orientation and offers B.A., B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics. Senior assistant and junior associate professors as well as new Ph.D.’s may apply. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2013, a strong commitment to Econometric research, with a promising research program, and eager to teach graduate and undergraduate Econometrics.
