We invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of macroeconomics beginning in August 2013 at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, with preference for Assistant/Associate. We seek qualified candidates with strong interests in teaching macroeconomics at the undergraduate and graduate levels and research interests in applied macroeconomics in areas such as international economics, economic growth, development, public finance or financial economics. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in economics.
GSU's economics department is in the Andrew Young School, which is ranked among the top 20 policy schools nationally. The school houses four academic departments (including Economics) and outstanding research centers in domestic fiscal policy, fiscal policy in developing countries, health policy, and experimental economics, among others.
