MACROECONOMIC ASPECTS OF INTERNATIONAL FINANCE POSITION

The UCR Economics Department invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in the area of International Finance. Responsibilities include developing a strong research program and teaching/advising undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must be ABD or have met the requirements for the Ph.D. in Economics or related fields. Priority will be given to candidates with demonstrated strength in International Finance and high potential for interaction with other areas of existing strength in the Department of Economics and across campus, such as Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Finance, and Political Science, among others.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Senior assistant professors are encouraged to apply. The appointment will commence on July 1, 2013. Applications should include a letter of interest, a curriculum vita, a sample of research work, and 3 letters of recommendation. Review of the applications will begin on November 19, 2012, and will continue until the position is filled.
