The UCR Economics Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Microeconomic Theory, with a priority on public economics. Responsibilities include both undergraduate and graduate teaching. Applicants must be ABD or have met the requirements for a Ph.D. in Economics, and they are expected to have demonstrated commitment to high-quality scholarly research and teaching excellence. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Senior assistant professors are also encouraged to apply. The appointment will commence on July 1, 2013.
