The Department of Economics and Finance has an opening for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics to begin August 2013. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications.

Primary responsibilities include undergraduate and MBA teaching (principles, business, statistics, and intermediate and upper-level economics electives), scholarly research appropriate for AACSB accredited institutions, and performance of departmental and university-wide service. Teaching assignments will include opportunities for teaching at off-campus sites and/or through distance learning.

We are looking for candidates with a concentration in urban economics, industrial organization or game theory. Teaching experience is required. Business experience is desirable. Candidates must be ABD or have received their Ph.D. within the last three years, or have a Ph.D. and scholarship commensurate with AACSB requirements. For ABD applicants, a Ph.D. completion is expected by January 2014. Finalists must successfully complete an interview process and provide a teaching demonstration.

Ph.D. in Economics is preferred with consideration given to an ABD.
