The LSU Division of Economic Development is anticipating the hiring of a Research Associate 1-5. The Research Associate will be responsible for the administrative support of multiple research projects as well as assist senior research staff in economic analysis.
Responsibilities:
--Track and maintain research project deliverables and timelines
--Support senior researchers in applied economic analysis
--Interpreting data, writing reports, and making constructive recommendations
--Explore opportunities for new research
Requirements:
(Levels 1-5) Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Economics or a closely related field; proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; strong analytical skills; familiarity with Stata; exceptional written and oral communication skills; (Level 2) one year of related experience; (Level 3) two years of related experience; (Level 4) three years of related experience; (Level 5) four or more years of related experience OR a Master's or equivalent degree in Economics or a closely related field.
Additional Qualifications Desired:
--Econometrics and forecasting experience
--Knowledge of GIS
--Knowledge of SQL
