The University of Tulsa invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Economics Department, beginning August 2013. This position expands the department to 7 full-time faculty and represents the department's contribution to the growing China Studies Program. Successful candidates must have a commitment to teaching excellence and serious interest in quality research and scholarship. Ph.D. is required by August 1, 2013. Candidates are expected to teach an introductory and an upper level undergraduate class on China's economy. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years post-doctoral teaching experience. Review of applications will begin on November 15, 2012 continuing until the position is filled.
