The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in applied microeconomics beginning Fall 2013. Applicants should expect to have a PhD by September 2013. Candidates should have strong interest in applied microeconomics research, potential for research funding, and the ability to teach at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. We seek candidates who can work independently as well as collaboratively with other faculty members in producing published research and applying for externally funded grants. The normal teaching load is two courses per semester for faculty who work with graduate students and who are research active. Degrees must be from a university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization.
