The Division of Economics and Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. A successful candidate will have a primary interest and expertise in resource economics as it applies to energy. For more information on the Division visit http://www.mines.edu/academic/econbus/. The Colorado School of Mines is part of the State of Colorado higher education system.
Applicants must have: a Ph.D. or equivalent by the August 2013 starting date; and education and skills related to one or more of the JEL fields listed. Applicants should have demonstrated interests and experience in petroleum resources. Additionally, consideration will be given for candidates with complementary skills or experience in one or more of the following: finance, decision analysis, operations research, and engineering. The position requires demonstrated potential to become an excellent teacher and scholar. Assistant Professors are expected to teach a 1-2 load (transitioning to 2-2 with promotion), conduct high-quality research, and provide service.
