The Department of Economics seeks applicants for one tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor to begin in Fall 2013. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics, and a promising research record in Time Series Econometrics/Macroeconometrics and/or Financial Econometrics. Evidence of excellence in research and teaching is essential. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, graduate thesis supervision, and some administrative duties. Complete application packages should include a complete cover page, cover letter, curriculum vita, copies of recent research papers, official transcript, and at least three letters of reference. We will begin the formal review process on December 1, 2012 and will interview promising candidates at the January AEA Meetings in San Diego, CA. Applications received by December 15, 2012 will receive full consideration. Women and minorities are particularly encouraged to apply.
