The Economic Research Service, United States Department of Agriculture, anticipates having multiple positions available for applicants with strong research skills. ERS economists conduct rigorous policy-relevant research on significant national and international issues. Positions are anticipated in one or more of the following areas of specialization:

--food and consumer issues;
--food safety;
--food markets and prices;
--behavioral economics;
--farm production, industrial organization and technological change;
--farm income and finance;
--agri-environmental policy;
--rural economics;
--global economic and trade modeling;
--global food security;
--risk management; and
--commodity analyst (crops and livestock).
