Economics - Augustana College invites applications for a tenure-track position, at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning in August 2013. We seek candidates with research and teaching interests in one of the following areas: environmental economics, public economics, law and economics, experimental/behavioral economics, or a closely related field. In addition, the candidate will be expected to teach Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics and Statistics. A strong candidate must demonstrate a desire to teach, mentor, and advise undergraduates, and support the mission of Augustana College. Scholarly research and active participation in service is expected. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Economics, or expect to complete the degree by August 2013. Review of applications will begin immediately and must be received by November 26, 2012 to be considered for an initial interview at the ASSA meeting in January.
