This is a nine-month tenure track position with 50% teaching and 50% research responsibilities beginning August 23, 2013. Areas of specialization include applied microeconomics, experimental or behavioral economics. Responsibilities include: developing strong reserch and teaching programs in applied microeconomics, experimental or behavioral economics with a focus on food, health, or related policy issues.
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics, Agricultural Economics or related field by time of appointment, excellent training in econometrics, microeconomics, quantitative methods, and superior written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Potential for or demonstrated teaching excellence, potential or demonstrated ability to attract extramural funding, potential for or record of publications in high quality refereed journals, and coursework or research experience in food, health, or related policy issues.
