The Department of Economics anticipates a tenure track opening at the Assistant or Associate level beginning August 2013, subject to budgetary approval. We seek a candidate in Macroeconomics. Particular interest will be given to those with an empirical focus. A completed Ph.D. is preferred; otherwise, completion is expected by August 2013. Candidates must demonstrate a record of or potential for strong teaching and research which results in refereed publications. The typical teaching load is 3 course sections per semester. There are opportunities, based on research performance, for reduced teaching load and summer research support. Submit cover letter, CV, 3 letters of recommendation, a copy of graduate transcripts, evidence of effective teaching if available, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a published or unpublished research paper.
