The Economics Department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applications for a full-time (academic), tenure-track position beginning August 26, 2013. The candidate should possess expertise in Health Economics. Rank will be Assistant Professor.
A typical semester includes a nine-hour-teaching load, with two preparations. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in teaching an upper-level course in health-related field. The successful candidate must also have a strong commitment to scholarly activities that result in peer-reviewed publications.
UW-La Crosse has vast array of health-related majors and programs, and has important collaborations with two major hospital systems in the area. The ideal candidate is expected to collaborate with faculty from departments outside of economics to create a cross-disciplinary health minor.
