The Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy and the Department of Economics seek to fill a 12 month, tenure track position, subject to budgetary approval, at the rank of assistant/associate professor beginning August 2013. Experienced candidates with specialization in industrial organization or environmental economics with interests/expertise in energy markets and/or energy regulation are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include high quality academic research, pursuit of external grants/contracts, graduate and undergraduate instruction, and a commitment to fostering the development of activities within and between the department, College of Business, Baker Center and internal and external units of the university. Ph.D. in economics or equivalent required. Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and one research paper.
